ABS was appointed to upgrade the heating system at a family-run sheet metal fabrication and welding company established in 1922. With a long history of manufacturing and engineering expertise, the business required a new heating solution to support its workshop environment and day-to-day operations.
Following a site survey, ABS proposed the installation of two new 30kW Powrmatic suspended heaters. The works included new flues, bi-directional louvres, panels, sensors, gas pipework and fittings, alongside access equipment, installation labour, commissioning and certification.
ABS supplied and installed two Powrmatic 30kW suspended heaters, providing a modern replacement heating system for the premises. Sensor leads were left long to allow the client to adjust their positioning during the first 12 months and identify the most effective locations. The project also involved coordination with the client regarding roof alterations and the removal of the existing heaters and ductwork.
