Local Motor Sports Company
A local, family owned business with a long history within motor sport, consulted ABS Ltd on how to replace an old commercial air oil fired cabinet heater in one of its workshops.
ABS Ltd completed a site survey and decided the best option was to use 2 x XR60 from Winterwarm alongside 2 x Winterwarm destratification fans to evenly distribute the heat.
The heaters were connected to the existing Bio LPG supplied by Avanti Gas.
The heaters were placed in the workshop to ensure they would give maximum coverage and they are able to easily control them by using a Winterwarm controller.
Electronics Company based in Silverstone
A company based in Silverstone who are a technology partner that works with businesses to maximise the benefits of electronics contacted ABS Ltd after extensive grant applications, to ask us to provide a modern, quiet and efficient heating system to aid the office area of the complex.
With a choice of either LPG or electric, it was decided to use bioLPG as the electrical requirements would push it to the supplies limit.
ABS Ltd chose to use a Winterwarm XR on to this site due to it’s slowing down of the fan speed when it is in modulation mode.
ABS Ltd also fitted a destrat fan to aid the distribution of the warm air that is produced.
Manufacturing Company, Wrexham
A company with a base in Wrexham who design and manufacture encoders contacted ABS Ltd, because they wanted a more efficient way of controlling their old, but still working, Blackheat Radiant Heating System.
ABS Ltd provided and fitted new Caledonian Controllers and fitted Sensors to existing wiring to achieve this for the client - providing a cost efficient solution to their problem.
