Our client, an industrial facility operator, required a heating system upgrade across multiple key areas of their site. This included the Main Hall, Warehouse, Tool Stores, and Gluing Hall. The existing systems were outdated and inefficient, necessitating a solution that would provide consistent warmth during colder months while offering additional utility during summer.

Project Overview

ABS worked closely with the client to assess the facility's specific needs and craft a comprehensive plan to modernise the heating infrastructure. The agreed solution included the installation of Winterwarm Warm Air Heaters paired with de-stratification fans for efficient air distribution.

Scope of Work

The tailored heating solution was designed as follows:

• Gluing Hall: Installation of 2 x Winterwarm XR50+ Heaters.
• Main Hall: Installation of 4 x Winterwarm XR120+ Heaters and 8 x WCU80 De-strat Fans.
• Warehouse: Installation of 2 x Winterwarm XR120+ Heaters and 4 x WCU80 De-strat Fans.
• Tool Stores: Installation of 1 x Winterwarm XR120+ Heater and 2 x WCU80 De-strat Fans.

Additionally, ABS managed the following tasks:

• Installation of control systems and wiring for the heaters and fans.
• Flue installation for proper ventilation.
• Provision of new power supplies for the systems.
• Modification of old heaters to enable fan operation for fresh air circulation during summer months.
