Arnold Building Services has been successful in winning the maintenance contract to service the radiant tube heating system at the Tata Steel plant in Wednesfield in the West Midlands. The contract will encompass the inspection and complete service of the 73 radiant tube heaters located in the roof of the strip processing centre.

Adidas, Stratford City – ABS have won the contract to run in pipe supplies for the Chiller units to the Air Conditioning at this premises, these works are in conjunction with AKS Air Conditioning in Liverpool.
Torquay Girls School – ABS won the installation of a Nor-Ray-Vac heating system, as manufactured by Ambi-Rad in the new Sports Hall at the school. This included the commissioning and final handover.
Chew Valley School, Bristol – ABS won the installation of a Nor-Ray-Vac heating system, as manufactured by Ambi-Rad, in the revamped Sports Hall. This included new gas pipework from the boiler house with a shut-off valve.
Matthew Arnold School, Oxford – ABS won the installation of a Nor-Ray-Vac heating system to a revamped Sports Hall, the system was installed at high level using a Scissor lift, including gas pipework, electrical wiring and commissioning.

Screwfix, Bath – Installation of Warm air heating;
Molve Valley, Devizes – Installation of Warm Air heating.

ABS supplied and fitted two new Powrmatic Floor Standing Cabinet Heaters to replace corroded ones. New gas pipework was run to the new positions with new flues and energy efficient controls, via sensors. We also fitted Punka fans to pull the warm air down and circulate this to maximise the heat generated.
